Academic Honesty
----------------
Academic Honesty plays a key role in our efforts to maintain
a high standard of academic excellence and integrity.
Students are advised that all acts of intellectual dishonesty
are subject to disciplinary action by the College;
serious infractions will be dealt with
in accordance with the Code of Academic Honesty.
Plagiarism
----------
To pass off another's ideas, writings or programs as one's own
is considered a form of cheating (plagiarism).
However, if documented credit is given where it is due,
students may use any resource they wish to complete assignments.
Examples of Academic Dishonesty
-------------------------------
The following are examples of homework handed in by two students
from the same course, for the same homework assignment which
was clearly specified as individual work only.

The examples clearly show a high degree of duplication and
almost total plagiarism. The original document was not cited.
